The award ceremony of the "Baku-2015 - Artificial Intelligence and Innovation in Sports" competition has been held.
According to "Report", the event was attended by Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) Chingiz Huseynzade, Secretary-General of the organization Azer Aliyev, some winners of the I European Games held in Baku, and federation officials.
Gunay Asgarova, an employee of the NOC's International Programs Department, greeted the event participants. She noted that the 10th anniversary of the I European Games organized in 2015 is being celebrated, and emphasized that this tournament played an important role in the sports history of Azerbaijan.
Then, the President of the European Olympic Committees (EOC), Spiros Capralos, addressed the audience in an online format. The head of the EOC noted that Baku-2015 was a historic moment for the European Olympic Movement.
Vice-President of the NOC Chingiz Huseynzade said that it is one of the biggest holidays of the Olympic movement in the country and that the I European Games left a great mark in the history of Azerbaijan.
EOC representative Gianluca De Angelis recalled the competition held in Baku 10 years ago and said that Azerbaijan had excellent organization.
A short video on the topic of "Artificial Intelligence and Innovation in Sports" was shown at the event, and members of the jury of the competition shared their thoughts.
After the speech of Ilham Zakiyev, the champion of the Baku-2015 European Games, the presentation of the works included in the competition took place.
Finally, at the award ceremony, certificates and awards were presented to the winners of the competition.
