The U17 World Wrestling Championship will be held in Baku from July 27 to August 2.
Idman.Biz reports citing the Azerbaijani Wrestling Federation that there is great interest in the prestigious tournament to be held at the National Gymnastics Arena.
Currently, more than 650 athletes from different countries of the world have been registered. In total, the arrival of more than 1,000 guests is expected in our country for the mundial.
Greco-Roman wrestling matches will be held on the first days of the championship. Then the female wrestlers will join the competition. On the last days of the tournament, the winners in freestyle wrestling will be determined.
Meetings will start every day at 10:30. Medal matches will start at 18:00. The solemn opening ceremony of the championship will take place on July 27 at 17:15.
