The famous wrestler, who celebrated his 34th birthday, said that last year was memorable for him with important events: "Unfortunately, I could not win a medal at the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games. I finished my career after the Olympics. This is also a very important event for me. But ending my career doesn't mean I'll stop. In the future, I want to do other things and represent our country properly in other fields as well. I am currently waiting for my new appointment by our federation. I guess we will all hear the good news soon."
Aliyev emphasized that birthdays are not of great importance to him: "Birthdays were more interesting in childhood. But as you get older, it changes a little. Of course, this day is always interesting for most women, but the same cannot be said about men. The main thing is that when it's your birthday, friends, relatives, and acquaintances don't leave you alone, they write beautiful congratulations. I thank everyone who congratulated me on my birthday."
It should be noted that our wrestler, who is a 3-time World and 4-time European champion, has also won the title of two-time Olympic medalist.
