Madina Karimova, a product of "Kapaz" and a member of the 13-year-old girls' team, is also involved in wrestling. Sport24.az reports that she recently won the Azerbaijani championship among 15-year-olds in Astara, in the 42 kg weight category.
Members of the main team met with the champion at training and took a commemorative photo. Head coach Azer Bagirov congratulated Madina on behalf of the team and wished her success in the upcoming competitions.
Karimova has been wrestling for 8 years. During this time, she has been a winner and prize-winner of several city and national tournaments. Madina, who also loves football, has been learning the secrets of this sport beloved by millions in our academy for the last 2 years, in Rafig Gurbanov's training group. She defends the honor of "Kapaz" in the U-13 League games.
