The U20 European Wrestling Championship is being held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
İdman.Biz reports that our female wrestler Gunay Gurbanova (59kg) lost to Swedish Karin Samuelsson 2:10 in the final.
Thus, Gurbanova won the silver medal of the championship.
Another wrestler, Ruzanna Mammadova (62kg), won against Hungarian Barbara Bagi by "tuş" and advanced to the final.
Zahra Karimzade (72kg) lost to Lithuanian Greta Tverskite 2:3 in the semifinals and will wrestle for the bronze medal tomorrow.
