Today, three Azerbaijani female wrestlers will compete for bronze medals at the European Championships held in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
Idman.Biz reports that Jala Aliyeva (57 kg), Ruzanna Mammadova (62 kg), and Birgul Soltanova will test their strength in the third-place matches of the competition.
Recall that earlier, Greco-Roman wrestlers Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) and Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg) won gold medals, while Rashad Mammadov (55 kg), Nihat Mammadli (60 kg), and Islam Abbasov (87 kg) won bronze medals. The Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestling team took first place in the team standings. Among women, Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg) won a bronze award.
It should be noted that the European Championship will end on April 26.
