From June 29 to July 2, the European Youth Judo Championship will be held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
Idman.Biz reports that at the continental championship, Azerbaijan will be represented by 17 athletes (10 boys, 7 girls) in 12 weight categories in individual competitions. Our country will also compete in the mixed team event on the last day of the tournament.
The team will be led by the head coach of the youth boys' team Emin Iskandarov, coaches Nicat Shikhalizade and Kotaro Sasaki, the head coach of the youth girls' team Elnur Ismaylov and coach Amrah Ahmadov.
