Yelizaveta Burkova, the attacker of our national women's volleyball team competing at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games, shared her impressions of the competition.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) has released information about this.
She stated that she is participating in such an international tournament for the first time as part of the national team, and this is a great source of pride for her:
"This is the first time I am participating in such a competition as a member of the national team, and this is a great honor for me. Unfortunately, we lost the game against the Turkish national team, but I tried my best to help my team on the court. Now our main goal is to prepare well for the final game and perform successfully. I wish our team success in the upcoming games."
Y. Burkova also highly appreciated the determination and fighting spirit of her teammates and emphasized that they will try to achieve better results in the upcoming matches.
