Idman.biz reports that these words were said by Jalil Jalilov, the head coach of the "Xilasedici" men's volleyball team, in his statement to AZERTAC, while talking about winning bronze medals in the Azerbaijan Major League.
He recalled that they started the season successfully: "We won the Azerbaijan Cup. Our opponents started to get stronger. We tried to do our best during the season. The result we achieved in the end is not bad. Despite the fact that the captain and leading player of the team were injured in the right shoulder, they fought to the end. I express my gratitude to my volleyball players for their determination."
The head coach emphasized that they will participate in European Cups next season: "We have received positive feedback from the management regarding this. God willing, we will represent Azerbaijan in the Challenge Cup next season."
He said that they will build a different team for the new season: "There will be radical changes in the squad. We are very ambitious for the next season."
It should be noted that "Xilasedici" won the bronze medals by defeating "Neftchi" in the match for third place.
