The opponent of the "Xilasedici" men's volleyball club, which will represent Azerbaijan in the "Challenge Cup", will not be weak.
This was stated by the head coach of the team, Jalil Jalilov, in an interview with "Report".
The expert emphasized that they have built a good team:
"Our statistician and manager have already started collecting information. The opponents are likely to be strong. Last year, the Turkish club "Arkasspor" became the champion in the Balkan Cup. This year, Turkish teams will not participate in the competition. Last season, 6 teams competed. This time, the number is not yet known. Our opponents will be known in August. But it doesn't matter to us, we have to prepare for the competition. We have built a good team this year and I trust my team".
It should be noted that the potential opponent of the Azerbaijani representative in the "Challenge Cup" will be the team that wins the Balkan Cup. "Xilasedici", which will debut in the European Cup, will start the fight from the 1/32 finals. The first game of the teams will fall on November 11-13, and the return match a week later.
