Winners of the Azerbaijan Premier League Awarded

The winners of the Azerbaijan Men's Higher League in volleyball have been awarded.

Idman.biz reports that after the second final match (0:3, 1:3) between "Murov Az Terminal" and "Azerreyl" held at the National Gymnastics Arena, the medals were presented by the President of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation Shahin Bagirov, Vice-President Faig Garayev, and President of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) Roko Sikiric.

"Azerreyl" received gold, "Murov Az Terminal" received silver, and "Xilasedici" received bronze medals. The champion was presented with a cup.

Speaking before the award ceremony, CEV President Roko Sikiric congratulated the winners and wished the teams success. He thanked the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation and the country's leadership: "I was received very well. In 2026, the group games of the European Championship will be held in Baku."

AVF President Shahin Bagirov emphasized that the final match was intense and interesting: "There were innovations in our championship this season. We see that the number of young volleyball players is increasing, as we wished for years ago. Clubs showed professional play among both women and men. The number of teams in the championship is also gradually increasing. This is gratifying."

At the ceremony, volleyball players in various nominations were also awarded to the symbolic team of the year.

It should be noted that "Azerreyl" also won the title of the winner of the Azerbaijan Women's Higher League in volleyball. "Absheron" took second place, and "National Aviation Academy" took third place.
