The Army Volleyball Championship dedicated to the fifth anniversary of "Victory Day" among military personnel of types of troops (forces) of the Azerbaijani Army, main departments and departments of the Ministry of Defense, as well as special purpose educational institutions has ended.
First, the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and the martyrs who died for the Motherland was commemorated with a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.
The speakers congratulated the winning teams and emphasized the importance of holding such competitions in maintaining the physical fitness of military personnel at a high level, strengthening combat spirit and team unity.
Out of 11 teams from various structural divisions of the Ministry of Defense participating in the competition, the team of the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute took first place, the Air Force took second place, and the Naval Forces took third place.
In the end, the winning teams were awarded cups and medals.
