The Azerbaijan Volleyball Championship among girls and boys under 16 has come to an end. The winners of bronze and gold medals were determined in the decisive matches organized at the Volleyball Center of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Idman.Biz reports that in the girls' final, the "AZERRAIL" team did not give "Sharqi Zangazur RVK" any chance. The capital representative, who defeated his opponent with a score of 3:0, won the title of the competition.
In this age group, the third place was taken by the "National Aviation Academy", which defeated "Khari Bulbul-3" club with a score of 3:1.
In the boys' competition, the final match was extremely tense. The "Baku RVK" team won a difficult victory with a score of 3:2 in the match with "Sumgayit RVK" and won the championship.
In the match for the bronze medal, "Embawood" was superior to "Oguz RVK" with the same score.
After the final games, the awarding ceremony of the winners was held. The president of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF), Shahin Baghirov, emphasized that the competition was held in a tense competitive environment and wished the young athletes success.
Then, cups, medals and diplomas were presented to the teams. The awards were presented by Shahin Baghirov, as well as vice-presidents Faig Garayev and Bahruz Guliyev, as well as other officials.
