The Referees Commission of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) has organized a three-stage seminar to expand the refereeing staff, taking into account the increase in the number of teams participating in the Higher League and the Azerbaijan championship.
Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) has released information about this.
It was reported that the first stage of the seminar was held at the sports base of the "Murov Az Terminal" volleyball club.
The event was opened by the Chairman of the AVF Referees Commission, international category referee Eldar Zulfugarov, and the Deputy Chairman, international category referee Zaur Hajiyev, who greeted the participants and wished them success.
In the first part of the three-stage program, participants received theoretical and practical lessons, and then took a test exam.
During the training, detailed information was provided about the innovations made to the volleyball rules, and the participants' questions were answered.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation organizes such trainings every year in order to train new referees and increase the professionalism of existing personnel. In the next stages, participants will receive a refereeing degree based on their results and will be assigned to competitions.
