The next "1st degree" coaching course organized by the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) for coaches and teachers started on January 16 in Ganja. Sport24.az reports that 19 coach-teachers from surrounding districts and cities are also participating in the course held at Ganja OIC.
The theoretical and practical lessons are conducted by Cengiz Akarçesme, Head of Training and Lower Age Groups of AVF. Nargiz Ismayilova, coordinator of the AVF Training and Lower Age Groups Department, will also provide detailed information to the participants about sports safety. At the end, specialists who successfully pass the exam will receive the AVF "1st degree" certificate.
The course will last until January 20.
It should be noted that last year the federation held "1st degree" coaching courses in Gabala, Sumgayit and Baku. AVF will also organize second and third degree courses in Baku and other regions, along with the first degree. Coach-teachers who have received the "1st degree" certificate will be able to coach in local championships. Specialists who will receive all three degrees will have the right to participate in the FIVB Level-1 seminar.
