Following the results of the last round of the Men's Volleyball Higher League in Azerbaijan, the semi-finalists of the play-off stage have been determined. In one of the pairs, "Neftchi" will face "Ordu".
İdman.Biz asked "Neftchi"'s head coach, Ukrainian specialist Viktor Boldarev, how he assesses his team's chances of reaching the final.
"If we talk about the chances of reaching the final - they are equal in our pair. Let me put it this way: if there are no squad losses due to injuries, I would rate our chances at 51 to 49 percent in this two-game confrontation.
As for the opponent I would like in the final if we succeed, it makes no fundamental difference to me. The main task is to pass "Ordu". In the "Xilasedici" - "Murov Az Terminal" pair, let the strongest win," said Viktor Boldarev.
It should be noted that the semi-final series "Neftchi" - "Ordu" and "Xilasedici" - "Murov Az Terminal" will be held on April 7 and 14.
