Today, a volleyball tournament for the "Victory Cup" dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the historic victory in the 44-day Patriotic War was launched among employees of state institutions operating in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Idman.Biz reports that the competition, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the Nakhchivan branch of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, consists of 5 rounds.
A total of 10 teams are competing in groups A and B. The group stage matches are held at the Ilham Aliyev Olympic Sports Complex in Nakhchivan city.
Group A includes the teams of Nakhchivan City Executive Power, Water Melioration Systems Operation Department, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of Economy. In group B, the teams of Nakhchivan Regional "ASAN Service" Center, Supreme Court, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population are competing.
It should be noted that the owners of the 1st and 2nd places in each group will gain the right to participate in the semi-finals.
