Speaking to the press service of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, the player commented on their victory:
"I congratulate my team and the coaching staff. This was our first game, it was important to win, and I am very happy that we managed to do it. We prepared well for the match. The mood in the team is good. In difficult moments, everyone supports and helps each other. I wish our team success in the next games as well."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team defeated the Iranian team with a score of 3:0 at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games.
