Today, the round of 16 matches took place at the 2025 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship held in the Philippines.
Idman.biz reports that in the first match of the day, the national teams of Bulgaria and Portugal faced each other. The match ended 3:0 in favor of the Bulgarians.
In the second match, the USA defeated Slovenia - 3:1. The winners of the day will face each other in the 1/4 finals.
Poland, Turkey, Italy and Belgium have previously advanced to this stage of the tournament. The last two 1/4 finalists should be determined tomorrow. Tomorrow Tunisia will face Czech Republic, and Serbia will face Iran.
The 2025 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship is being held in the Philippines from September 12 to 28. The current title holder is Italy.
