Today, the playoff stage of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Championship among girls and boys under 16 has started.
Idman.Biz reports that the girls' games were held in the sports hall of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF), and the boys' matches were held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex. Based on the results of the games, the teams that will compete in the semi-final stage have been determined.
A total of 8 teams – "AZERRAIL", "Ganja RVK", "Momina Khatun", "National Aviation Academy", "Oguz RVK", "Khari Bulbul-3", "Turan" and "Sharqi Zangazur RVK" competed in the playoff stage of the girls' competition. According to the results of the matches, the teams "AZERRAIL", "National Aviation Academy", "Khari Bulbul-3" and "Sharqi Zangazur RVK" won and qualified for the semi-finals.
In the boys' competition, the teams "Ganja RVK", "Baku RVK", "Embawood", "Turan", "Sumgayit RVK" and "Oguz RVK" performed in the playoff stage. According to the results of the meetings, the teams "Baku RVK", "Sumgayit RVK", "Embawood" and "Turan" won and advanced to the semi-final stage. "Oguz RVK" also won the right to participate in the semi-finals as the team with the best result.
It should be noted that the semi-final games will be held tomorrow for both girls and boys. All matches will be organized in the sports hall of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation.
