Shahin Baghirov, the president of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF), has been awarded the rank of General-Colonel.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has signed a Decree in this regard.
According to the Decree, Shahin Soltan oglu Baghirov was awarded the highest special rank of "General-Colonel of the customs service".
It should be noted that Shahin Baghirov was elected President of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) on April 11, 2023.
