President of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) Shahin Baghirov held a meeting with young volleyball players in the Goygol region.
Idman.Biz reports that the event, organized at Goygol region secondary school No. 1, was attended by the head of the district Executive Power Vugar Novruzov, the head of the Ganja Regional Volleyball Club Nazim Isayev, the club's director Sarkhan Mammadov, the president of the "Ganja" volleyball club Elvar Osmanov, and representatives of the federation.
During the meeting, the guests observed the training process of young people, got acquainted with the level of preparation and the conditions created. Shahin Baghirov was informed about the work done and future plans for the development of volleyball in the region.
The AVF president, talking with parents and young athletes, thanked the families for directing their children to sports, and gave recommendations to volleyball players on how to reach a professional level. He emphasized the importance of attracting promising players to the "Ganja" club, which plays in the High League, and gave appropriate instructions.
