The 1/4 final stage of the 2025 Men's Volleyball World Championship, held in the Philippines, has come to an end. Sport24.az reports that the most unexpected result of this stage was in the Bulgaria-USA match.
The Bulgarians, losing 0:2 during the game, made a comeback and won 3:2. They will face the Czech Republic national team in the semi-finals. The Czechs defeated Iran in the 1/4 finals - 3:1.
The other semi-final pair will be Poland and Italy.
The Italians are the current world champions.
