The quarter-final stage of the 2025 Men's Volleyball World Championship, held in the Philippines, has concluded.
Idman.biz reports that the most unexpected result of this stage came in the Bulgaria-USA match.
The Bulgarians, who were losing 0:2 during the game, made a comeback and won with a score of 3:2. They will face the Czech Republic national team in the semi-finals. The Czechs defeated Iran in the 1/4 finals - 3:1.
The other semi-final pair will be the national teams of Poland and Italy.
The Italians are the current world champions.
