As part of the "Selection Day" project, a selection process was organized for young male volleyball players at the Sheki Olympic Sports Complex.
Report reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation that the selections were conducted by Jahangir Seyed Abbasi, the head coach of the national team consisting of young boys.
A total of 64 athletes representing the Oguz, Ganja RVK and Tovuz VK teams participated in the process.
The coaching staff assessed the physical fitness and technical-tactical skills of the participants, and the appropriate candidates were shortlisted for the next stage.
It should be noted that the next stop of these tours, which are held to identify promising athletes, will be Nakhchivan.
