The selection process conducted by the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) among junior and young female volleyball players has been completed.
According to the information provided to "Report" from AVF, the final stage of the "Selection Day" was organized in Nakhchivan.
The preparation level of about 100 volleyball players born in 2012–2013, who train at the branch of the organization in Nakhchivan, was checked by Shahin Chatma, the head of the national teams consisting of junior and young girls.
During the selection, athletes underwent tests according to established standards, and their physical and technical indicators were recorded by the coaching staff. Athletes who successfully pass the selection stage will be involved in training camps organized by the federation in the coming months.
It should be noted that the "Selection Day" was launched in January, and selections were made among athletes training in Regional Volleyball Clubs operating in Baku and regions.
