The second stage of the three-stage seminar for new referees, organized in accordance with the event program of the Referees Committee of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF), has been held. According to Sport24.az, citing the AVF, 23 people who successfully passed the test exam in the first stage of the program participated in the second stage.
The seminar, organized at the Volleyball Center of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, was conducted by Eldar Zulfugarov, Chairman of the AVF Referees Committee, international category referee, and Zaur Hajiyev, Deputy Chairman, international category referee.
At this stage of the seminar, the intricacies of volleyball rules were explained in detail to the participants, and their questions were answered. At the same time, the next test exam was conducted. Based on the results, the participants will gain the right to participate in the third stage of the seminar.
It should be noted that the main purpose of holding such seminars is to train new referees every year and increase the professionalism of existing personnel.
