Ramin Azizov, the president of the Azerbaijani "Azerrail" volleyball club, positively assessed the appointment of the team's head coach, French specialist Boris Grebennikov, as the head coach of the Azerbaijani men's national volleyball team, in addition to the club (he is the head coach of "Azerrail" - ed.).
Ramin Azizov stated this in an interview with Idman.Biz.
According to him, Grebennikov holding two positions will not create problems for either the club or the national team:
"I don't think that Grebennikov performing two positions at the same time will create any problems for our club. This is a practice applied in many team sports around the world. There are enough "Azerrail" volleyball players in the national team, and I am sure that this combination will benefit both the club and the national team. This situation is like having two watermelons not in one hand, but on one tray," the president of "Azerrail" noted jokingly.
