The preliminary stage of the Men's Volleyball Higher League has concluded. Sport24.az reports that the final round (Round XX) took place today at the MES sports hall, featuring the matches "ORDU" vs. "Gencler", "Neftchi" vs. "Azerreyl", and "Murov Az Terminal" vs. "Khilasedici".
In these intense and exciting matches, "ORDU" (3:2), "Azerreyl" (3:2), and "Khilasedici" (3:0) emerged victorious.
Thus, at the end of 20 rounds, "Khilasedici", "Neftchi", "ORDU", and "Murov Az Terminal", which secured the top four positions in the league table, have advanced to the semi-finals.
According to the regulations, the semi-final will consist of two matches (home and away). If the teams have an equal number of victories after the two matches, a golden set will be played to determine the winner. There will be one match for the bronze and gold medals.
It should be noted that the semi-final matches will start on April 7.
