The Azerbaijan national volleyball team of boys under 16 (U-16) will participate in the 2nd qualifying round of the European Championship. Sport24.az reports that, for this purpose, our volleyball players have departed for Spain, which is hosting the competition today.
In the championship to be held in Spain on April 25-27, our team will compete in Group B. Our national team's opponents will be the host team, as well as the Estonian and Austrian teams. Our country will be represented in the competition under the leadership of Jahangir Seyed Abbasi.
It should be noted that 20 teams will compete in 5 groups in the second qualifying round of AVRO-2025. The teams that will take the first two places in the group, as well as the best two teams that will take the third place, will qualify for the final stage of the continental championship.
