The roster of the Azerbaijani national men's volleyball team for the Silver European League has been announced. Sport24.az reports that 17 players have been included in the initial roster.
Head coach Farid Jalalov's staff includes assistants Akif Veliyev and Jalil Jalilov. The roster includes 4 setters, 6 blockers, 2 liberos, and 5 attackers.
Setters: Amirmehdi Abilov, Mirhasil Seyidli, Vusal Rustamov, Roman Gurski;
Blockers: Emin Alishanov, Mardan Mammadov, Dmitri Baranov, Aslan Hamidov, Yegor Nikulenko, Ramazan Agabayov;
Liberos: Nihad Gasimov, Kenan Allahverdiyev;
Attackers: Javid Azimov, Ruslan Aliyev, Yusif Bunyatov, Andrey Melnikov, Mirashraf Rzazade.
It should be noted that our team will play its first game against Sweden on June 6.
