Tovuz's "Turan" club will debut in the new season of the Azerbaijan Women's Volleyball Championship.
According to İdman.biz, referring to Allsport.az, the team has no direct connection with the "Turan Tovuz" football club.
Ziya Rajabov has been appointed as the head coach of the team. Rajabov won the bronze medal of the CEV Cup with "Azeryol" in 2016, and in the 2019/20 season, he made the Indonesian club "Jakarta" champion. His last job was "Khari Bulbul", which competed for gold last season but had to stop participating in the tournament.
The team has already started training and the official presentation of the new club will take place soon.
