National team member's team defeats French representative
"Vasas," the club where Azerbaijani national volleyball player Ayshan Abdulazimova plays, has won its second victory in the group stage of the CEV Champions League. Sport24.az reports that the Hungarian representative defeated the French team "Nantes" in three sets (3:0) in the 5th round at their home ground.
Abdulazimova scored 8 points in this game.
"Vasas," which also defeated "Nantes" in the first round, is third in the group with 5 points. Our compatriot's team is 3 points behind the Polish representative "Budowlani Lodz," which is in second place.
