"The changes in the composition of the "Kur" handball team will allow us to achieve more success." Sport24.az reports that this was stated by Minaya Mammadova, the new transfer of the Mingachevir representative, in an interview with the press service of the Azerbaijan Handball Federation.
She also explained the reason for changing "Qarabağ" to "Kur":
"I wanted to try myself in a new club and I received an offer from the "Kur" team. I thought that this club is more promising and that's why I switched to "Kur". Not only my arrival, but in general, the numerous changes in the team will allow us to achieve more success this season."
The handball player hopes to advance to the next stage in the European Cup:
"As you know, we started training at the beginning of August. First, we worked on physical fitness, and then we had hall training. After the draw, it became known that we will face the Portuguese team "San-Pedro-du-Sul". We immediately started analyzing the opponent. We are currently continuing this process. We are building our tactics and I think that the enthusiasm and unity we have shown in training will help us to perform well against this team. God willing, we will win both games and get a ticket to the next stage."
