Jahangir Seyid-Abbasi, the head coach of the Azerbaijan national youth volleyball team and the "Gencler" club, shared his concerns about the recent events in Iran.
The expert, originally from Urmia, told Idman.Biz that he could not contact his relatives due to the military-political tension in the region. Seyid-Abbasi said that these events occurred when he was preparing to send his family to their homeland.
"My family and children were here, I wanted to send them home yesterday, and suddenly these events happened. I am very worried because I cannot contact either my friends or my relatives living in Iran. There is currently no internet there, and "WhatsApp" is not working either. I am following the events from here, and I am learning about the news about my region through "YouTube", - said the head coach.
It should be noted that many Iranian specialists are currently working in Azerbaijani sports, most of whom are our compatriots.
