I have great faith in the future of my volleyball players who are fighting with strong teams.
This was stated to the Western Bureau of "Report" by Jahangir Seyed Abbasi, the head coach of the Azerbaijani national volleyball team of boys under 17.
"Unfortunately, our rivals Turkmenistan and Tajikistan did not come to these games. Therefore, the games were held in a round-robin format. In fact, we shouldn't have played with Belarus, Russia and Uzbekistan at all. Because it was like that, we played with them. Unfortunately, we lost and finished fourth. We still shouldn't give up. We have played against strong opponents. Playing with such teams was a great experience for us. The children should learn from it. It was the first international game for our team's players. Athletes who started playing volleyball 15-16 months ago showed such a game. For this reason, I believe in the future of these children," said the head coach.
Let us remind you that the Azerbaijani national volleyball team of boys under 17 lost to the Belarusian national team with a score of 1-3 in the last match at the III CIS Games.
