The final match of the 2025 Women's World Volleyball Championship was held between the national teams of Turkey and Italy.

The 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship was held from August 22 to September 7 in four cities of Thailand (Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chiang Mai, and Phuket).
In the semi-finals of the competition, the Turkish team defeated Japan in four sets. The match ended with a score of 3:1 (16:25, 25:17, 25:18, 27:25). In the same stage of the tournament, the Italian team defeated Brazil in five sets - 3:2 (22:25, 25:22, 28:30, 25:22, 15:13).
The previous world champions, the Serbian team, lost to the Netherlands in 5 sets in the 1/8 finals of the current tournament.
