The "Ganja" women's volleyball club has strengthened its roster with a member of the Kenyan national team.
"Report" reports, citing the press service of the regional representative, that a contract has been signed with Sharon Chepchumba.
The volleyball player spent the last season with the Vietnamese team "Hoa chat Durc Giang Lao Cai." During her career, she has played for clubs in Kenya, Turkey, and Greece.
The volleyball player nicknamed "Chumba" is the winner of the African Club Championship and the Vietnam and Kenya Leagues.
As a member of the Kenyan national team, she won a gold medal at the African Games in 2019 and at the African Championship in 2023. The volleyball player has participated in two consecutive Summer Olympic Games.
