The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has released the new ranking table for countries.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijan national team is also included in the new list among male volleyball players.
Farid Jalalov's team dropped to 91st place after an unsuccessful performance in the qualifying stage of the European Championship. The Azerbaijan national team, which is ahead of only 2 countries in the table - Cambodia and Iceland - has 8.85 points.
Our volleyball players have fallen 7 places compared to the last list. Thus, Azerbaijan is one of the 3 teams that have regressed the most in the ranking. Unlike our team, Norway (61st place) and Kosovo (77) have let 8 opponents pass them.
Poland leads the list with 400.14 points.
It should be noted that our national team lost both games to Belgium and Austria in the qualifying stage. Our volleyball players could not even win a set in these games.
