The Albanian Volleyball Federation has disqualified Brazilian player Nayara Ferreira of Tirana "Dinamo" from competitions due to suspicions about her gender identity.

Orlando Kodja, the head coach of the "Dinamo" club, said that he disagrees with the decision and emphasized that this step could create a dangerous precedent. According to him, Ferreira plans to leave Albania after receiving the test result.
