Today, the President of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), Roko Sikirić, the Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) Bahruz Guliyev, the Secretary-General of AVF Faig Orujov, the Advisor to the President of AVF Jalil Jafarov, met with the players and coaches of our national team consisting of young girls and boys.
Idman.biz reports that at the meeting held at the Volleyball Center of the GIN, the head of CEV highly appreciated the measures taken by the AVF to develop children's volleyball.
Then, the Executive Director of AVF Vugar Huseynzade made a presentation covering the work done in the federation and the upcoming plans.
At the event, the Head of Training and Lower Age Groups of AVF, Doc.Dr. Cengiz Akarçeşme, said that work is being carried out with new coaching specialists at AVF, and various seminars are organized to improve their knowledge and skills.
