The Bulgarian men's volleyball team has qualified for the final of the 2025 World Championship.
Idman.biz reports that in the semi-final of the competition in the Philippines, the Bulgarians defeated the Czech Republic 3:1 (25:20, 23:25, 25:21, 25:22).
It should be noted that in 1970, Bulgaria won a silver medal, losing only to East Germany. At that time, medals were distributed in a group format, and the final game was not held.
In the final, Bulgaria will face the winner between Italy and Poland. The tournament will be held in the Philippines from September 12–28, and the current champion is Italy.
