The latest Azerbaijani champion among women's handball players, "Azeryol", has attracted four players to its squad. Sport24.az reports that Aleksandr Revva, the head coach of the Baku club, informed AZERTAC about this.
According to him, the team has transferred Irina Panchenko (goalkeeper), Irina Mikhalkovich, Zinayda Akundova and Aida Zafarova. A 1-year contract has been signed with these handball players.
It should be noted that "Azeryol" will face the Austrian team "Union Kornoyburg" in the II qualifying round of the European Cup. The first games of this round will be held on September 27-28, and the return matches will be held on October 4-5.
