The Azerbaijani national team of boys under 18 in beach volleyball has qualified for the play-offs at the Eastern European Volleyball Zonal Association (EEVZA) championship.
This was reported to "Report" by the press service of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation.
The team qualified for the play-offs at the competition in Cesis, Latvia. The team consisting of Ibrahim Mammadov and Muhammad Aslanli defeated the Latvian and Estonian national teams 2:0 in the group stage.
Our representatives will face the Lithuanian team in the play-offs.
The U-18 women's team stopped competing in the group stage.
The national teams of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine are competing in the competition.
It should be noted that the competition will end on July 3. The teams that take the first three places will qualify for the European Championship.
