The squad of the Azerbaijan women's volleyball team for the Golden European League has been announced. Sport24.az reports that 19 volleyball players are included in the initial squad.
Head coach Faig Garayev has called up 8 attackers, 5 blockers, 4 liberos, and 2 setters to the team's training camp. Experienced specialists Famil Agayev and Emin Abilov will assist the head coach.
Liberos: Asiyat Abuyeva, Jeyran Imanova, Yuliya Karimova, Beyaz Guluyeva;
Setters: Yana Doroshenko, Kristina Besman;
Blockers: Anastasiya Mertsalova, Aynur Imanova, Ayshen Abdulazimova, Mariya Kirilyuk, Olena Kharchenko;
Attackers: Yelizaveta Ruban, Ilhama Azimova, Ulker Karimova, Nikolina Bashnakova, Polina Rahimova, Margarita Stepanenko, Kseniya Pavlenko, Yelizaveta Burkova.
It should be noted that our national team will play its first match against Hungary in Baku on May 30.
