The next meeting of the Medical Commission of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) was held.
"Report" informs that Vusala Kazimova, a member of the CEV Medical Commission, a doctor of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, also participated in the meeting held in Luxembourg.
The meeting, organized at the CEV headquarters, was chaired by Jacek Leon Kruczynski, President of the Medical Commission. During the meeting, the CEV's action plan for the current year, the organization of medical support at international tournaments and competitions, as well as issues related to the protection of athletes' health were discussed.
At the meeting, a wide exchange of views was held on the organization of medical examinations of athletes, prevention of injuries, recovery processes and medical control mechanisms in the competitions held during 2025 and planned for the upcoming period. In addition, the importance of improving medical protocols applied in international competitions and maintaining uniform standards was emphasized.
Within the framework of the meeting, modern medical approaches, innovations in sports medicine and strengthening cooperation between federations in this field were also in the focus of attention by the members of the CEV Medical Commission.
