The Eastern European Volleyball Zonal Association (EEVZA) beach volleyball championship among girls and boys under 20 has ended.
Idman.biz reports that the competition held in Vilnius, Lithuania, has concluded.
A total of 15 girls' and 15 boys' teams from Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Estonia, Ukraine, Armenia, and Georgia competed in the championship.
Our representatives Ibrahim Mammadov and Muhammad Aslanli, Khadija Hadizade and Jamila Bashirova finished the competition in 8th place.
During the competition, our teams faced the national teams of Armenia and Georgia twice and won both matches.
It should be noted that our beach volleyball teams consisting of girls and boys under 18 will participate in the Eastern European Volleyball Zonal Association (EEVZA) championship, which will be held in Cesis, Latvia, from June 30 to July 5.
