The Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) has launched the Azerbaijan Championships among youth in the U-14, U-16 and U-18 age categories. According to Sport24.az, girls' and boys' teams from various cities and regions participate in the competitions.
The games are held not only in Baku, but also in Ganja, Nakhchivan, Oguz, Tovuz, Sumgayit and other regions. A total of 170 teams – 110 girls' and 60 boys' teams – are competing this season.
According to the regulations, the competitions start with the group stage and will continue with the play-off rounds. On the first day, 15 games were held in Baku in three age categories, and 30 matches were held in the regions.
