The Azerbaijani women's national handball team played its first match at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Idman.Biz reports that the team, which is in Group B, faced Uzbekistan.
The game, which took place at the "Green Hall" Olympic Complex, ended with a 28:26 victory for the opposing team.
It should be noted that the national team will play its next game against the Kazakhstan team on November 17.

The meeting, which will be held at the "Green Hall" Olympic Complex, will start at 15:00 Baku time today, not at 17:00 as originally planned.
It should be noted that the national team will compete with the Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan teams in Group B.
