The Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation awarded the "Report" News Agency at a meeting with media representatives organized on July 22 - National Press Day.
"Report" reports that it has specifically recognized active media organizations.
Shahin Bagirov presented the gift to Hidayat Gurbanov, an employee of the agency's sports department.
The AVF President congratulated the media representatives on the special day and highly appreciated their work throughout the year:
"We have meetings with media representatives at a number of sporting events. However, the format of this meeting is different. Journalists cover the events of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation and other sports organizations at a high level. The media plays a major role in conveying the held competitions to the international arena. Happy holiday to all media representatives".
AVF Vice-President Faig Garayev also congratulated the media workers and wished them success in their future activities. Afterwards, a video reflecting the successful work of AVF over the past year was shown.
